Mulberry Street: William's Birthday Trip to Dreamfield Farms

"And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street"

There is this great Dr. Seuess book about a boy who walks to school everyday down Mulberry Street. All he ever encounters are normal things and he wants to see extraordinary things so he can have a good story for his dad when he gets home. So the book is made up of this boy's imaginative exaggeration of the normal. Great things that all build upon each other to end with a grand parade. The boy finally realizes all the exaggeration is too unbelievable and decides to just tell his dad what he really saw on the way home-the normal, everyday stuff. That's what we are sharing in this blog, so we thought Mulberry Street a fitting name. We sometimes feel no one wants to hear about our everyday lives, but hopefully you do. Enjoy!

William's Birthday Trip to Dreamfield Farms

It just so happened that this year's K-4 trip to Dreamfield Farms was on William's birthday! This was the case last year as well. David took off to spend the day with us at the farm and had so much fun that he decided to do it again! William and Lily loved the hay ride to find a pumpkin. They picked out one pumpkin together-impressive to me that they could agree on one!
