Mulberry Street: A Tribute to Uncle Daniel

"And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street"

There is this great Dr. Seuess book about a boy who walks to school everyday down Mulberry Street. All he ever encounters are normal things and he wants to see extraordinary things so he can have a good story for his dad when he gets home. So the book is made up of this boy's imaginative exaggeration of the normal. Great things that all build upon each other to end with a grand parade. The boy finally realizes all the exaggeration is too unbelievable and decides to just tell his dad what he really saw on the way home-the normal, everyday stuff. That's what we are sharing in this blog, so we thought Mulberry Street a fitting name. We sometimes feel no one wants to hear about our everyday lives, but hopefully you do. Enjoy!

We are sorry, Uncle Daniel, that we have left you out so often. Know that you were thought of often: when your tight tuck is in a photo or when you are making a crazy face in the background of a photo. We love you and will try to mention you specifically more often.
