Mulberry Street: St. Simons Island- A Little Bit of Fun!

"And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street"

There is this great Dr. Seuess book about a boy who walks to school everyday down Mulberry Street. All he ever encounters are normal things and he wants to see extraordinary things so he can have a good story for his dad when he gets home. So the book is made up of this boy's imaginative exaggeration of the normal. Great things that all build upon each other to end with a grand parade. The boy finally realizes all the exaggeration is too unbelievable and decides to just tell his dad what he really saw on the way home-the normal, everyday stuff. That's what we are sharing in this blog, so we thought Mulberry Street a fitting name. We sometimes feel no one wants to hear about our everyday lives, but hopefully you do. Enjoy!

St. Simons Island- A Little Bit of Fun!

William enjoyed hunting for things along the "safe" part of the tidal pond at low tide. A large portion of it was solid and fun to dig in. He also enjoyed the large area of beach with about an inch of water covering it. It was perfect for all of the kids to play in. Lily loved putting mud on Dad and Joseph loved being able to crawl long distances with nothing in his way.
